The Polynesian airline was honored to be named "5 Star Major Airline" in the APEX Official Airline RatingsTM ranking for the fifth consecutive year.
Passengers' ratings have helped establish this renowned ranking and maintain the position of Air Tahiti Nui, the leading carrier to French Polynesia, among the major international airlines.
APEX PASSENGERS’ CHOICE AWARDS
After winning the "Best Seat Comfort in the South Pacific" award in 2020, Air Tahiti Nui was honoured with two other awards in 2022 for the South Pacific region: "Best Entertainment" and "Best Cabin Service". It is an honor to receive such awards from passengers in this very challenging global pandemic context.
GLOBAL TRAVELER GT Tested Awards
Best Airline in the South Pacific

Air Tahiti Nui is honored to hold the title of "Best Airline in the South Pacific" for the fourth consecutive year, and for the eighth time since the creation of the renowned Global Traveler GT Tested Awards. This prestigious ranking is based on a large annual survey of travelers' opinions throughout the world. In 2019 and 2020, Global Traveler readers also named Air Tahiti Nui "Best Leisure Airline".
The airline won the first prize for the "creation of an innovative and/or eco-responsible product/service" at the Pacific Asia Travel Association Awards (PATA), thanks to its carbon offset service. Air Tahiti Nui, in partnership with the New Zealand start-up Carbon Click, offers all its passengers the opportunity to voluntarily offset the emissions of their travels by supporting concrete projects to prevent global warming.
THE DESIGN AIR AWARDS
During the complete renewal of its fleet in 2018, Air Tahiti Nui had the pleasure of receiving the Award for the "Best New Livery" of the year. Our visual identity and our Boeings 787-9 Tahitian Dreamliner, beautiful blue birds with the colors of the ocean, decorated with Polynesian patterns, were again awarded with the title of "Best Airline Design - Oceania Region" during TheDesignAir Awards 2021.
THE TRAVELERS CLUB
The online magazine Travelers Club has awarded our Poerava Business class the title of "Best French Business Cabins" in 2021. Comfort, service, cabin design, and in-flight entertainment: the excellence of our services and the immersive atmosphere of our cabins inspired by the Polynesian seaside, have contributed to Air Tahiti Nui's recognition.
CELLARS IN THE SKY
After winning a silver and a bronze medal in 2019, Air Tahiti Nui has stood out in 2020 in the prestigious Cellars in the Sky classification thanks to its wine cellar in Poerava Business class. Three gold medals, for Best "Wine Cellar", "Sparkling Wine" and "White Wine" in Business Class, accompanied by the Jury's Commended Award for the "Best Presented Wine List in Business Class". Our selection of wines served on board our aircrafts was established in collaboration with the Chef Sommelier Olivier Poussier, named best sommelier in France and in the world.
TRAVELPLUS AIRLINE AWARDS
During the World Travel Catering Expo (WTCE), Air Tahiti Nui received two recognitions for its Poerava Business travel kits: a TravelPlus Airline amenity Bag Award in the "ethically sustainable" category in 2017, and the Gold Award in the Asia/Australia category in 2019. As part of our eco-friendly approach, our travel kits incorporate environmentally friendly materials and local products.
As part of our CSR approach initiated in 2015, Air Tahiti Nui is working to reduce the environmental impact of its activities in the air and on the ground. The airline has thus implemented a campaign to raise awareness about eco-friendly practices in the office, which has led to a reduction in energy expenses. This work was rewarded with a Silver CUBE in 2018 in the Overseas regions category, for the energy performance of Air Tahiti Nui's buildings.
