Cellars in the Sky 2022

Papeete, February 20th, 2023

Air Tahiti Nui is pleased to announce that its wine list has again been recognized for the excellence of its products during the prestigious Cellars in the Sky Awards 2022 ceremony, organized by Business Traveller magazine.

This year, the airline won two gold medals in the "Business Class Sparkling" and "Business Class Rosé " categories.

After winning several titles in previous editions of the Cellars in the Sky competition, the wines served on board Air Tahiti Nui have once again stood out.

This Monday, February 20, during the awards ceremony held in London, the Polynesian airline was honored to receive two gold medals for its business class wines:

  • « Business Class Sparkling »: Champagne Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve NV, France

  • « Business Class Rosé »: Château des Demoiselles – Côtes de Provence, 2021, France

These wines made in France have been carefully selected in collaboration with the Chef Sommelier Olivier Poussier, elected best sommelier in the world in 2000. These exceptional products are offered to passengers traveling in Poerava Business cabins.

The competition, which has been organized for nearly 40 years by Business Traveller, celebrates the quality of wines offered in the First and Business Class cabins of numerous airlines around the world. Rankings are the result of a rigorous tasting process involving wine critics and culinary experts.

Air Tahiti Nui is honored to receive these two gold medals and views them as a result of the airline’s commitment to making every trip on board a Tahitian Dreamliner a memorable experience for the senses.  The combination of its luxury cabins with impeccable service and the finest of products, ensures guests’ Tahitian holiday starts the moment they step on board.
