SMARTPHONES « SAMSUNG GALAXY Note 7 »

For the safety of all, and following the emergency order issued by the U.S. DOT together with the Federal Aviation Administration and Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, Air Tahiti Nui bans all SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7 smartphone devices from its airplanes.
Effective Saturday, October 15, 2016 and until further notice, individuals who own or possess a SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7 device may not transport the device on their person, in carry-on baggage, or in checked baggage on Air Tahiti Nui flights. The phones also may not be shipped as air cargo.
