AIRCALIN AND AIR TAHITI NUI OPERATE THEIR FIRST FLIGHT SHARE CODE
This morning, Tuesday, March 31, on a Noumea Auckland flight, began the code-share partnership between the two French companies in the Pacific.
Aircalin has received from the US Department of Transportation DOT (Department of Transportation), permission to operate flights in code share with Air Tahiti Nui from Noumea to Los Angeles.
THE AIRCALIN / AIR TAHITI NUI PARTNERSHIP
The partnership is fully realized. It allows the two companies to submit their code on flights operated by the other carrier to offer their respective customers connections between Noumea, Papeete and Los Angeles.
The concerned flights are now bi-appointed. Aircalin apply its SB code on 2 flights operated by Air Tahiti Nui from Auckland, Papeete and Los Angeles. For its part, the Polynesian TN affix its company code on the direct flight Papeete-Auckland-Noumea Noumea 2 more flights operated by Caledonian company.
3 ADDITIONAL FREQUENCIES PER WEEK TO LOS ANGELES
The implementation of this agreement offers now to New Caledonia customers three additional links between New Caledonia and Los Angeles. The flights are operated on Thursdays, directly via Papeete, and on Tuesdays and Sundays via Auckland and Papeete.
