Here is the latest update on Air Tahiti Nui flights, schedule changes and rebooking of tickets as of May 8th, 2020.
Flight Schedules and Operations: Force Majeure impact on flight schedules
In light of international travel and safety measures taken by the Presidency of French Polynesia and the High-Commissioner of the French Republic in French Polynesia, as well as restrictions in the United States, New Zealand, Australia and the European Union (some of which include compulsory repatriation of all non-residents to their home country, entrance only for residents, quarantines and restriction of domestic and international flights), Air Tahiti Nui informs you that we are required by Government directive to delay the journey of customers effective from 18 March through July 1st, 2020.
Scheduled flight operations, subject to Government direction, are set to partially resume from July 2nd from the United States to Paris and Tahiti.
The schedule from July 2nd onwards is subject to change and all passengers must reconfirm their reservation at least 72 hours prior to departure, if not earlier.
Rebooking your flights:
If your journey was scheduled for March 18th through July 1st 2020 you may re-book new travel dates as follows:
- New travel may commence on or before 31 December 2021.
- Tickets for the new travel date must be issued before September 30th, 2020
Change fee and seasonality fare difference is waived
- Change fee and seasonality fare difference is waived on any Air Tahiti Nui flight from July 2nd, 2020 and to commence on or before December 31, 2021. Please note the new booking must be for the same itinerary and in the same cabin. Please contact your travel professional or Air Tahiti Nui for more details. Seats may not be available on every flight and booking class restrictions apply.
