Air Tahiti Nui continues to be transparent and accountable to its stakeholders by publishing its second Sustainable Development Report 2018 “Together for a Sustainable Future for 20 Years With You”

Towards a strengthening of our CSR approach
Following the release of its first Sustainable Development Report 2016, Air Tahiti Nui is once again reporting on its CSR performance covering fiscal years 2017 and 2018.
Thus, this second sustainability report offers an original reading of Air Tahiti Nui’s contribution to the environment and Fenua as a Polynesian company:
- aviation safety copy (IOSA certified since 2005)
- committed to a global environmental approach (greenhouse gas emission reduction policy)
- 2nd private employer in Polynesia with 780 employees, 92% based in Tahiti in 2018
- pioneer and vector of development of Polynesia (leader of tourist traffic with 61% market share in 2018)
As before, this report was prepared with the mobilization of the department and services and in accordance with the general principles of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), an internationally recognized standard for reporting on a company’s economic, environmental and social issues.
In 2017-2018, many actions are to be noted such as the two distinctions (Travelplus Award 2017 and silver CUBE2020 ), the various health actions (in favor of employees) and solidarity (baptism of the air, job academy, meal for homeless) for Polynesian families.
