1. Travel to French Polynesia – 14 Day Quarantine Rule Imposed
As many of you are aware, the French High Commissioner in consultation with the Tahitian Government, has imposed a 14 day quarantine on all arriving passengers into French Polynesia. The quarantine facilities will be directed by local authorities and may include a variety of Government facilities, such as gymnasiums and meeting halls.

2. Flight schedules
LAX-CDG. With the Travel restrictions in place between The US and Europe, Air Tahiti Nui has suspended LAX-CDG service for the next several weeks, estimated to be to April 21. Passengers may change their flights without booking penalty during this period or endorsement to other airlines for the return part of their journey.
LAX-AKL. The New Zealand Government is now requiring a 14-day quarantine for all arriving passengers. Air Tahiti Nui maintains its flight schedules at this moment, but subject to immediate change. Passengers may change their flights booked to 31 May, without booking penalty, for travel through 31 December 2020
LAX-PPT-LAX. Flights between Los Angeles and Papeete have been reduced to between four to five per week. Please see the schedule below. WE suggest you contact our call center to verify the schedule , 48 hours prior to departure.

Clients wishing to change their booking to Tahiti, scheduled to fly between now and April 30th, may do so without fee for travel completed by 31 December.
3. Other Entrance Requirements
Either at the departing ATN Airport (Except Narita) or upon arrival in Papeete, Medical staff will verify the document and conduct a temperature scan. Any passenger registering a temperature above 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit (37.5 degrees Celsius) may be refused travel/entry per this policy.
Passengers with normal temperature and NOT exhibiting visible signs of illness / virus, including a fever above 99.5 degrees, persistent coughing and or shortness of breath, will be accepted for travel on Air Tahiti Nui, entry into French Polynesia.

4. Additional Documentation/ Returning to the United States of America:
Please note that guests may be required to provide at check-in or onboard the flight, both to and from the United States and French Polynesia, documentation confirming the address in destination, telephone number(s), and email address. This information may be used by the Ministry of Health in French Polynesia as well as the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Disease Control.
Returning into the United States of America:
For those passengers returning into the United States of America --- any passenger who is NOT an American citizen holding an American passport OR legal permanent resident of the United States will be
DENIED entry if they have visited or transited Mainland China or Iran within the last 14 days.
5. Deep Cleaning of our Aircraft
The Air Tahiti Nui fleet consists of the most modern Boeing 787-9 aircraft, each plane less than one year old. The airplanes are equipped with HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters which remove 99.97 percent of contaminants from the cabin air. HEPA filters are extermley effective against viruses and bacteria. These HEPA filters are removed and replaced frequently to insure a very pure atmosher onbaord the aircraft.
Extra cleaning and disinfection of the cabins is done between flights.Caabin cleaning is carried out using disinfecting solutions shown to be effective in killing bacteria and viruses. In addition every aircraft is preventively disinfected via fumigation at least twice per week.
